Document Description
The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) will construct a grade separation of two principal railroad lines (BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad) at the at-grade crossing located near South Aurora Street, known as the Stockton Diamond, in the city of Stockton, California. SJRRC, as the Project sponsor, is the lead agency under CEQA. Following the certification of the original Environmental Impact Report in 2021, SJRRC is seeking to accommodate a Project variation including six design refinements: Changes to the East Scotts Avenue crossing, the East Hazelton crossing, the East Weber Avenue crossing, the design of the Mormon Slough, other right of way changes, and changes to the construction schedule. The Stockton Diamond Grade Separation Project CEQA Addendum (Addendum) was prepared to evaluate the Project Variation.
