Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is Categorically Exempt from California Environmental Quality Act (CEOA) review pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1, of the CEQA Guidelines, which permits licensing of existing private structures involving negligible or no expansion of the use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination. The proposed project will establish a dance/fitness studio use and only the existing interior unit space will be modified to accommodate the proposed use.
