- Document Description
- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0167-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Robert Bencini. Permittee shall remediate the project site by 1) modifying two small concrete, cobble and grout check dams that occur in the creek channel such that they no longer impound water, remove PVC and other plastic pipes that occur on site, and 2) removing a 300-gallon plastic water storage tank, adjacent collapsible storage tank and all associated PVC pipes, fittings and junctures.

- Reasons for Exemption
- The project footprint is less than 5 acres in size, will not impact sensitive or endangered plants or animals. All work will be done using hand tools and equipment and no heavy equipment will enter the channel. No hazardous materials exist in or around the project. The project purpose is to remove an instream diversion structure and associated apparatus, thereby returning water to the creek for benefit of wildlife and resources.
