- Document Description
- The Project consists of the management of vegetation within Lindo Channel. The Project will improve visibility and reduce fire hazard along approximately one acre of the riparian zone of Lindo Channel. The Project will remove non-native vegetation within the riparian zone of Lindo Channel. The Project will also thin out and cut California grape (Vitis californica) and California pipevine (Aristolochia californica) and remove other native trees with a Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) of less than 4 inches. The vegetation that will be removed from the Project Site will be cut at ground level to avoid topsoil disturbance. Limbs located up to 8 feet above ground level will be removed within the Project Site. All vegetation will be disposed of off-site or chipped on-site. Chipped materials will be placed on site to protect soil with a depth not to exceed 6 inches.
