Document Description
The existing concrete septic tank and two distribution lines servicing seasonal housing will be removed and replaced with like materials. A backhoe will excavate approximately 30' (L) x 30' (W) x 6' (D) for the septic tank and 100' (L) x 8' (W) x 6' (D) for the distribution line trenches. Tamarisk roots have infiltrated the system; roots will be removed and a biofilter fabric will be installed in the excavated areas. A cultural resources monitor will be on-site during ground-disturbing activities.

No potential for significant impact to the environment is anticipated in compliance with CEQA §15300.4. If the project is implemented as indicated within the CDPR Project Evaluation Form, then it is exempt under CEQA §15302 - Replacement or Reconstruction. The project will result in an in-kind replacement with no footprint expansion.
