- Project will reestablish access to a series of spring boxes to address failure of the water system at Mount Diablo State Park. Public safety is impacted by the lack of water supply to residences and emergency fire response. Work will include: • Use hand tools to trim brush along 100' of ATV/pedestrian trail and remove shrubs at one spring box location; • Use Sweco trail dozer to move two large trees that have fallen across access road; • Use Sweco trial dozer to scrape overgrown vegetation from 1,300' of 6-8'-wide vehicle access road and from an 800 sq. ft. vehicle turn-around; • Use Sweco trail dozer to regrade 470' of degraded 4'-wide ATV trail.
