Document Description
Notice of Exemption for an approved Caltrans project. Caltrans proposes to resurface and restore (2R) pavement along the Interstate 80 mainline and ramps within the project limits. The purpose of this project is to enhance highway safety by rehabilitating the pavement located in the project limits. The need is that the existing pavement exhibits distress resulting in poor ride quality and the potential of pavement failure. This project is needed to preserve both mobility and safety at minimum maintenance costs.
