Document Description
DWR will install 11 inclinometers for monitoring landslide impacts at SBA Scott Creek, Berryessa Creek, Terminal Tank locations. Borings vary from 50 to 280 foot vertical by 8-inch diameter. Bore holes will be sleeved with PVC pipe grouted in place. Finished construction will have an 8-inch square above ground well box for each boring and a 4-foot tall 2-inch pipe affixed nearby with solar panels and radio telemetry. Some vegetation will be removed. Staging will be on established roadways. All drill cuttings will be drummed and transported off site for disposal at an approved waste facility.

The State Water Project provides significant and important services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves data collection activities for a safe water supply. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. Because this activity can be implemented without any significant environmental impacts, the Categorical Exemption Class 6 will be used for CEQA compliance.
