Document Description
The County would replace the existing bridge across Bear Creek considered structurally deficient with a new structurally sound bridge. A temporary single lane detour has been constructed to the east side of the bridge for a prior emergency repair project and will remain in place over the course of construction. The proposed property is located in a rural area on the eastern border of the County of San Joaquin and the western border of the County of Calaveras, along Bollea Road and crossing over Bear Creek. The site is approximately 1,500 feet west of California State Route 12 and west of the unincorporated census-designated area of Wallace.
