Document Description
As part of the project, the existing one-story structure and associated parking lot would be removed and replaced with a new, four-story, approximately 250,000 square foot data center. Average power consumption would be 48-megawatts (MW). Backup diesel generators would be installed to provide emergency power to the data center. The 3.8-acre project site is zoned PD – Planned Development and was previously zoned Light Industrial. The project site is in Santa Clara south of Highway US-101 and west of the San Tomas Expressway. The project site has frontage on Stender Way. Surrounding land uses are predominantly industrial and there are no sensitive receptors within close proximity to the site.
