Document Description
The proposed project has an existing roof that is asphalt built-up rolled roofing that DSH plans to replace, with a single-ply membrane cool roof over 1/2" per foot tapered rigid insulation. This will include the demolition and removal of the existing built-up roof system with existing insulation as well as the existing roof drains. A new tapered insulation designed with a membrane roof system and a gutter and downspout system will also be installed. In addition to the reroof, the existing mechanical equipment and electrical conduits will be removed and reconnected to meet the new roof slope.
