The proposed project includes the routine maintenance of facilities including, vegetation control, invasive species removal, debris or obstruction removal, and sediment removal. The lack of performing these maintenance tasks could potentially adversely affect the natural flow or otherwise reduce channel capacity, accelerate erosion, or cause flooding into adjacent streets and structures thereby causing a public health and safety hazard.
