Reasons for Exemption
The project will provide 40 Zero Emission Buses (as fleet replacements) and install Battery Electric Bus (BEB) chargers at both the Emeryville and Oakland Divisions. This will allow the District to operate ZEB buses of either technology from either Division. There is no adverse impact to the environment as a result of the activities and work for this project.
