California Department of Transportation proposes to improve damaged section of roadway on State Route 70 in Butte County between Post Miles (PM) 46.0 and 47.0 by raising the existing roadway profile approximately 5 feet, replacing the Bear Creek Bridge (No. 12 0039) at PM 46.40, protecting the embankment with Rock Slope Protection, and placing an earth retaining structure to protect against future flood damage.
