Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to restore channel function within the project reach and to facilitate surveys necessary for developing a stream restoration plan for Delilah Creek. Downstream of Sarina Road, the Delilah Creek channel has an extensive infestation of non-native Reed Canary Grass (RCG). Upstream of Sarina Road, the Delilah Creek channel is covered with dense Himalayan blackberry. Due to these dense non-native plant species, topographic and water quality surveys necessary to accurately assess habitat and channel conditions for restoration planning are not possible. The goal of the Project is to conduct three actions required to collect data and conduct surveys necessary for development of a stream restoration plan for Delilah Creek. Those actions are to remove floating RCG, remove Himalayan blackberry, and establish groundwater monitoring wells.
