Document Description
Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Laguna Clara II Project, analyzing the environmental impacts from demolition of three of the two-story apartment buildings and partial demolition of an additional apartment building in the center of the Project site. A total of 42 dwelling units would be removed, along with two accessory buildings, which are one-story structures, and four carport structures. In place of these demolished structures, the Project Sponsor would construct a new single three- and four-story apartment building over a partially below-grade parking garage. Upon Project completion, there would be a net increase in residential space totaling approximately 54,073 square feet (sf), 183 additional residential units, 384 additional parking spaces, and 63,667 sf of additional open space.
