Project involves replacement of approximately 1,800 feet of existing pipeline with new pipeline. New line will be located immediately adjacent to existing pipeline. Some minor brush removal, grading, trenching and trench backfilling will be conducted.

Project is exempt because it meets the criteria under CEQA Guidelines Article 19 Section 15301 for the repair maintenance and replacement of existing water utility in essentially the same location. SVCWD will ensure implementation of standard industry procedures for erosion control and sedimentation to protect Paynes Creek aquatic ecosystem from sedimentation and other protective measures.
