- Document Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB) propose to construct a levee improvement project consisting of approximately 1,150 feet of erosion repairs along the waterside slope of the Sacramento River east levee in Sacramento, California. The purpose of the project is to reduce the risk of flooding to the City of Sacramento by constructing levee improvements that reduce the risk of levee failure during high water events. The project area includes a portion of the left bank of Sacramento River, starting immediately downstream of the Westin Hotel property and continuing approximately 1,500 feet downstream
