Document Description
DWR will mow the landslides at the Scott Creek and Terminal Tank locations. The sites will be mowed for proper mapping of future inclinometer installation. DWR O&M DFD staff will reduce vegetation at the location prior to drilling installation activities to allow access to landslide boundaries for mapping. Mowing will be completed with an industrial mower, portable weed trimmer and hand tools as necessary. Vegetation will be left to decompose onsite. Staging will be on established roadways at both locations. Work varies within DWR right of way and outside of right of way on private land.

The State Water Project provides significant and important services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. Because this activity can be implemented without any significant environmental impacts, the Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance.
