The California Department of Transportation proposes to cold plane 0.25 feet of existing Asphalt Concrete (AC) pavement from edge of pavement to edge of pavement, repair localized failed AC pavement, resurface the existing AC pavement, upgrade existing curb ramps, crosswalk markings, upgrade existing signals with accessible pedestrian signals and pedestrians countdown timers, and install vehicle speed feedback signs for both directions, along State Route 61 in the City of Alameda, in Alameda County, between Broadway/Encinal Avenue and Sherman Street/Central Avenue.
