he California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as assigned by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), proposes to widen the bridge structure and upgrade the bridge railing of Pudding Creek Bridge (Bridge No. 10-0158) on State Route 1 at PM 62.12 in Mendocino County. The project would widen the
existing bridge and bridge approaches to upgrade the travel lanes, shoulders, sidewalks, and bridge rails to meet current Caltrans and local safety design standards. Additional work would involve road widening and relocation of various utility lines.
