Document Description
This is a FONSI prepared by USFWS for the restoration of 300 acres of coastal dune habitat on the north spit of Humboldt Bay. The Coastal Conservancy is funding the restoration of an 80-acre subset of the 300-acre project area through the manual/hand removal of invasive and non-native plants and revegetating the cleared area with native dune plants. The Coastal Conservancy is using this NEPA document in lieu of preparing a separate Negative Declaration, as directed by the CEQA guidelines.
