Malibu Creek State Park Trail Signage Program
NOE - Notice of Exemption
Department of Parks and Recreation
This project would replace wayfinding signs on trails throughout Malibu Creek State Park that have been lost, largely due to the Woolsey Fire in 2018. These signs will indicate trail and destination names and distances, and will be mounted to posts that will be driven into the soil by hand by park docent volunteers.
No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated in compliance with CEQA §15300.2. If the project is implemented as indicated within the CDPR Project Evaluation Form, including conditions provided by CDPR staff, it is exempt under the Departmental List of Exempt Activities established under the authority of CEQA § 15300.4 as: Class: 11 Section( s): 15311 - Accessory Structures
