- Geotechnical investigations will be performed to aid in the design of replacement restrooms at Huntington State Beach. The work would include cone penetration tests, drill rig exploratory borings to depths of approximately 15 feet, pavement cores and hand-augered borings from 3 to 5 feet in depth. Borings would be backfilled in accordance with Orange County regulations. Further detail regarding the work proposed as well as measures to be implemented to avoid impact to the environment may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.
