Document Description
Eight invasive tamarisk trees, Tamarix ramosissima, will be removed from the viewshed of the Salton Sea SRA Visitor Center. Staff will utilize handsaws and loppers to cut the tamarisk, then treat the stumps with an application of Garlon 4 Ultra. All biomass will be transported to the park "boneyard," staged there for 6-12 months, then disposed of. Disposition may consist of burning, chipping, or removal in a dumpster
