Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-HUM-08937-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Patrick Flanagan. The project is limited to one encroachment. The single proposed encroachment will remediate riparian habitat that was altered on subject parcels which contains the bank, streambed, and channel of the South Fork Eel River. This project will replace the removed trees at a 5:1 ration with native riparian tree and shrub species to provide a functioning riparian zone. Work for this encroachment will planting, monitoring of success criteria.

Reasons for Exemption
The single proposed encroachment will remediate removed trees within the bank of the South Fork Eel’s riparian zone. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
