Document Description
The Project is a change to the land use designation of approximately 2,072 acres of undeveloped land in western Bakersfield to enable the construction and operation of a groundwater recharge and recovery facility. The Project would involve a Specific Plan Amendment/General Plan Amendment to rescind the McAllister Ranch Specific Plan and amend the Land Use, Circulation, and Housing Elements of the Metropolitan Bakersfield General Plan; Zone Change for the property; and design, construction, and approval of a water banking facility, including water conveyance to and from the property and spreading and recovery facilities onsite.
