Document Description
Allow Juliet Ryan-Davis, from the California Institute of Technology, to collect geologic samples near Pincushion Mountain and along the San Joaquin River Trail at Millerton Lake State Recreation Area, for use in a study about magmatic processes in volcanic arcs and for use in chemical analysis. Ryan-Davis will use a rock hammer to collect a maximum of fifteen (15) hand samples from outcroppings, each approximately 10-15 cm in diameter.
