Document Description
Notice of Exemption for Quagga and Zebra Mussel Prevention Program Grant The project will continue to improve the current Lake County Invasive Mussel Prevention Plan by funding a year of boat ramp monitors, provide education, and improve local and state law compliance with persons boating on Clear Lake. The project will also improve mussel prevention outreach and education via signage, radio and social media outlets. Lastly, the project will continue the process of transitioning from paper screening and program conformity into digital medium. Additionally, the grant will support a video PSA development and distribution and ramp-side outreach and inspection with trained QZ mussel inspection dogs.
