Reasons for Exemption
The Project is Categorically Exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to New Construction of Small Structures 15303 in that the project proposes the construction of small structures that are collectively under 10,000 square feet of buildable floor area. The proposed structures are located in an urbanized area, do not involve significant amounts of hazardous substances, are located in an area where all necessary public services and facilities are available, and are located in an area where the surrounding area is not environmentally sensitive. The project will neither individually nor cumulatively have an adverse effect on wildlife resources, as defined in California Fish and Game Code Section 711.2.
