Document Description
DWR Delta Field Division staff will clear-out sediment and debris from multiple culverts located along both the primary and secondary sides of the CAAQ starting at Check One and ending at Check 8. A water truck will be used to clean culverts into CAAQ. Culverts adjacent to Bethany Reservoir shall have sediment containment in place. A road grader will be used to shape v-ditches to original design profile. Staging of equipment will be on established paved and unpaved roads. All work is within DWR right of way.

The State Water Project provides significant and important services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. Because this activity can be implemented without any significant environmental impacts, the Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance.
