Document Description
The project will remove the existing turnaround in front of the campus’s Icardo Center (Building #52), expand the front plaza, and renovate the turnaround in front of the campus Health Center (Building #35) adjacent to Icardo Center. The plaza fronting Icardo Center has a narrow exiting area and sidewalk that can create life safety issues when approximately 2,500 people attempt to exit the Icardo Center after athletic games or events. The existing emergency access route in front of the Health Center does not have ADA-compliant drop-off capabilities or proper driving lanes for emergency vehicles.
