Replace Binney Junction Underpass and Marysville Railroad Underpass and provide 5 lanes on State Route 70 from post miles 14.8 to 15.7 in Yuba County. The project would provide complete streets elements, rehabilitate existing pavement, reduce future traffic congestion, improve operations and safety, and comply with current Caltrans, Union Pacific Railroad, and local agency standards. Specifically, the project, which is a length of 0.9 mile, would add two auxiliary lanes to the existing two travel lanes, a continuous two-way left turn lane, shoulders, sidewalks, a grade separated bicycle lane, and signalized intersections, and the Project would also replace the Marysville Underpass and Binney Junction Underpass, which are two Union Pacific Railroad structures.
