Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace the Santa Maria River Bridge (Bridge # 49-0042) on State Route 1 at the border of San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County, north of the City of Guadalupe. A new bridge structure will be build next to the existing bridge, and the existing bridge would be removed when construction of the new bridge is completed. The new bridge will conform to current Caltrans' design and safety standards.
