Document Description
The West Bay Sanitary District (District) proposes to construct levee improvements and a new recycled water facility at its Flow Equalization and Resource Recovery Facility (FERRF) to provide Federal Emergency Management Agency 100-year and anticipated sea level rise flood protection and allows the District to provide recycled water to customers. Addendum 1 includes approximately 836 linear feet of artificial oyster reef that will be installed at the northwestern portion of the project site, located within the northernmost part of the FERRF site as well as in the area along Westpoint Slough, between the WBSD facility and Greco Island. The State Lands Commission action is an amendment of a 20-year General Lease – Public Agency Use through February 27, 2043.
