Document Description
Cal trans will replace eight culvert drainage systems, of which four are within jurisdictional waters along SR 36, in Humboldt County. The Project is needed to replace and repair existing culverts that are deteriorating, resulting in insufficient drainage capacity causing roadway flooding and embankment erosion which will lead to the roadway failure. Culverts will be replaced using either a cut-and-cover technique or repaired by installing a High-Density Polyethylene (HOPE) liner within a damaged pipe.
