Document Description
Central Valley Ag Group (CVAG) is proposing to establish a new transloading facility at the Port of Stockton (Port) to receive whole cottonseed by rail and transport it out of the Port by truck. The project entails improvements to an existing Port concrete pad lot, including constructing a small concrete apron pad, filling and leveling holes, and installing a portable modular-type office, truck scale, and related appurtenances. The proposed project would not require new permanent buildings or infrastructure improvements and would not include berth or in-water work. Electricity would be provided to the project site through an existing power pole at the southwest corner of the project site. The proposed project was constructed and became operational in spring 2019.
