The project site is located along a portion of County Road 107 (Dyson Lane) that crosses over the Middle Fork Feather River Overflow, at mile post 2.4, east of Beckwourth-Calpine Road, within Sierra Valley in Plumas County, California. The BSA is shown on the Reconnaissance Peak, California 7.5- minute U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) topographic quadrangle: Township 22 North, Range 15 East, section 18.
