Document Description
Protect the biodiversity of native ecosystems through abatement of noxious weeds and other invasive plants of concern in Napa County Develop survey, mapping and non-chemical control/removal program for rush skeletonweed (Chondtila juncea) in Napa/Yountville area, artichoke thistle (Cynara cardunculus) in South Napa County, saltcedar (Tamanx sp.) and arundo (Arundo donaxJ in Napa County waterways, including Pope Creek. All survey work will be done with drones The project includes compilation of local noxious weed data, and development and presentation of at least two workshops aimed at educating the public on noxious weeds and other weeds of concern. Data compilation and workshops will be implemented by Napa County Resource Conservation District as contractor.
