Document Description
The project would construct 7-foot paved shoulders with 5-foot Class-II bike lanes, along with curb, gutters and a 9½-foot-wide sidewalk, and curb returns on both sides of the roadway. Five feet of right-of-way would be acquired. Overhead utilities would be undergrounded along N. Valencia Blvd within the existing right-of-way, with 3-foot maximum excavation. The purpose of the project is to improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists going to and from Woodlake Valley Middle School and Woodlake High School.
