New construction includes replacement of classrooms within the existing Alicante Avenue Elementary School footprint that are in the same vicinity as classrooms being replaced and with the same overall purpose and capacity. The Project would not increase the Alicante Avenue Elementary School classroom count by more than 10 classrooms. The net classroom count will decrease by 26 classroom at the time of project completion.
