Document Description
The Sailor Bar Pump Station Project consists of replacing an existing sanitary sewer pump station with a new pump station and appurtenant facilities. Site improvements will include demolition and replacement of existing pavement and access road, raising the site above the 100-year floodplain, relocating the existing access road, constructing a new electrical building with staff restroom, and installing a perimeter fence. The new pump station will include four new submersible pumps in a 35-ft deep dual wet well, new site piping, new instrumentation, and provisions for future bypass pumping operations. New electrical equipment will be installed in the new electrical building. The existing utility transformer and standby generator will be relocated on-site and continue to serve the new pump station facilities. Following completion of the new pump station, the existing pump station will be demolished and existing buried facilities will be abandoned in-place.
