Document Description
Replace the existing State Route 217 San Jose Creek Bridge (Bridge# 51-0217) with a two-span bridge structure that would accommodate multimodal traffic in Santa Barbara County on Route 217 from postmile 0.9 to 1.4. Due to a slightly higher profile, the bike and pedestrian path next to the bridge would need to be slightly realigned. It would meet FEMA floodway requirements and include features to allow the structure to be raised in the future to address sea level rise.
