Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funds, is proposing to add a decanting site to an existing Caltrans disposal site on State Route 299 in Lassen County at postmile (PM) 10.2. A decanting site is used to deposit water and mud routinely collected when cleaning culverts along state highways. The disposal site on Lassen 299 PM 10.2 is currently used for disposal activities and the staging of equipment and supplies. A decanting site is a similar/compatible use to the current operations of this site.
