Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations in the campground at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park to identify soil conditions and provide guidance for the proposed installation of thirteen (13) pre-fabricated camping cabins, a restroom and shower building and associated amenities. A truck- or track-mounted drill rig with 6" auger bits will be used to drill up to six (6) holes, five (5) to fifty (50) feet in depth to obtain soil samples for analysis. Excavated holes will be sealed using cement grout and drilling spoils will be spread in adjacent undeveloped areas away from the waterways.
