Document Description
The project is limited to the demolition and replacement of two bridges over Marsh Creek in unincorporated Contra Costa County. Existing bridges will be demolished, and replacements constructed to include improvements such as widened decks to accommodate larger, heavier vehicles and a longer deck span resulting in a smaller overall instream footprint. The new bridges will each be approximately 80-foot-long, single-span bridges. Bridge decks will be approximately 43 feet wide, with two 12-foot-wide travel lanes, 8- foot-wide shoulders, and 1.5-foot-wide concrete barriers.
