Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0107-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Tom Harrington for the purposes of salvage logging under Emergency Notice of Timber Operations exemption 2-20EM-00020-SHA approved by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The project is limited to 16 encroachments including repair or replacement of failed culverts and excavation of debris and aggraded sediment from the stream channels at nine existing culvert crossings; establishment of one rocked ditch to convey spring flows to the inlet of an existing culvert crossing; decommission (removal) of one failed bridge crossing; temporary installation of one multiple-culvert crossing; channel bank repair at one site of bank erosion that may include temporary installation of a multiple-culvert crossing to cross heavy tracked equipment to access dry portions of the stream channel and extract rock material from the streambed to rock armor the site of bank erosion; and the diversion of water at three existing crossings.
