Document Description
Due to being exposed to the elements the insulation on communication line splices has deteriorated and have become corroded and/or separated. To prevent further wear on the communications line, the existing pedestal needs to be removed and replaced with a splice case and post. The repairs would be performed as follows, excavate (4ft x 4ft x 4ft), remove existing pedestal, and install new splice case with post. The repairs will be done by B&B Communications in order to maintain properly functioning communication lines along the California Aqueduct.
