Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0177-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Daniel Griffith representing the Sycamore Mutual Water Company. The project consists of the excavation of a portion of the east bank of the Colusa Drain to remove a defective 48-inch pipe. The project will be constructed by open trench and will be backfilled with controlled low strength material to one foot above the pipe, followed by native fill to 90 percent compaction. A positive closure device, Waterman C-20 Canal Gate within a 60-inch steel pipe will be installed. The work areas will be isolated by either coffer dams or bladder dams. The work areas will be dewatered for a period of no less than 15 days prior to excavation of the existing pipe and installation of the new pipe.
