Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is proposing a seismic project to provide State Route 162 Postmile 8.2 with an earthquake-resistant bridge structure capable of resisting a maximum credible earthquake. This project would replace the existing bridge with a new one to the south of the existing bridge. Little to no traffic control would occur.
